Description

Served as Mechanical Lead for my university's Hero robot competing in the DJI RoboMaster competition, a world-renowned intercollegiate robotics battle where teams design, build, and pilot a fleet of robots to destroy the opposing team's base.

The Hero is the most powerful ground robot on the field, launching golf balls that deal significantly more damage than standard robots. Led full mechanical design and manufacturing efforts with a focus on performance and reliability.

  • Served as Mechanical Lead overseeing design and manufacturing of the Hero robot.
  • Redesigned the ball shooting mechanism for improved accuracy and reliability.
  • Improved suspension systems to enhance stability and field performance.
  • Collaborated with electrical and software subteams for full system integration.
  • Competed against university teams in the DJI RoboMaster intercollegiate competition.
